Founded by Femi Kozlowski in 2021, Hemby Home Company is a Greenville, North Carolina-based practice serving clients in real estate and design.
Hemby is a combination of two Swedish words; Hem, meaning ‘home’, and By, meaning ‘village’. It’s the idea that you can have a space that is unique to you; full of your own special memories and moments, and a space designed to support those moments; freeing you up through good design so that you can make the most of life.
Home is about more than the space and the things that make up a physical house; it’s about the life you get to live when you’re there. That’s what Hemby Home Co. is committed to bringing to every client.
About Femi
Femi Kozlowski is a realtor, interior design advisor and podcast host whose rich, international design aesthetic and family-centric approach make her the natural choice for design-forward families looking to buy and create architecturally significant homes in and around Greenville, NC.
Drawing from a culturally rich childhood in Europe along with other international influences, Femi’s approach to design is a globally saturated one that celebrates personality and pragmatism in equal measure.
Whether the property is historic or brand new, Femi uses her tasteful eye and years of real estate experience to help each and every client envision and cultivate the kind of home that feels personal, cultured, and practical for their family.
When she’s out of office, you’ll find Femi at wine tastings with friends, taking on new experiences with her husband and kids, or perusing the latest issues of Wallpaper, Milieu, Frederic, Dwell, and the World of Interiors.
Femi holds an M.A. degree in Linguistics from Florida Atlantic University and a B.A. degree in Creative Writing from the University of Winchester, and worked with health and biotech startups before beginning her career in real estate and interior design.
